Blade mCX
The Blade mCX offers the beginner stability and control with the coaxial, counter-rotating blades. It has a rotor span of just 7.5 inches and weighs just one ounce. It is meant be flown indoors, anywhere from your office to a small bedroom, basement or living room.
The Blade mCX is a small electric helicopter that comes fully assembled and set-up from the factory, flight-tested and ready-to-fly. Included with this helicopter is the Li-Po battery and AA battery-powered DC Li-Po charger, 4-channel transmitter equipped with Spektrums 2.4GHz DSM2 technology, and 8 AA batteries (4 for the transmitter and 4 for the charger).
DSM2 technology offers freedom from frequency restrictions and allows the Blade mCX to be flown anywhere, anytime indoors with precise 4-channel control.
After gaining some experience with the Blade mCX or mCX2, the next step up would be the Blade CX2. The Ready-to-fly version also comes factory assembled, set-up from the factory and test flown, no set-up required, with coaxial, counter-rotating rotor blades that make hovering easy. Although not as easy as the mCX or mCX2, the CX2 could be the next step up. Be careful when stepping up to the CX2, even though it has coaxial, counter-rotating blades, the input from the radio is much more responsive and can lead to a crash.
