Blade SR
The Blade SR was designed for the beginner wanting to get into Single-Rotor Fixed-Pitch heli’s with a smaller budget. The SR comes in the Ready To Fly (RTF) version only and includes the helicopter, radio, servos, gyro, LiPo battery and charger. It also comes with the radio set-up with less aggressive pitch curves. If this is your first collective-pitch heli, Training Gear is reccomended for a smoother learning and less costly flying experience.
This SR has the motor driven tail rotor, and on a heli this size, can mean the motor could have a hard time keeping up with the main motors torque, resulting in it getting hot or even burning out. To overcome this somewhat, fly in short 2 – 4 minute intervals and if possible, outside, allowing the motor to cool and cool faster.
